VP, External Auditor
Seeking a CPA with Big 4 experience to step into the role of VP, Auditing for this insurance company client. NOT looking for an Internal Auditor. The position really calls for more of a Forensics-type Auditor as the client's business platform is largely MGA/MGU. The successful candidate will be someone who is a consensus builder; a person with the personality and amiability to achieve change from "the hand that feeds you" without alienating, who brings people on board as a participants and still effectively institutes changes where needed to protect the insurance company's financial assets and reputation. There will be two Auditors reporting to the VP (not yet hired). This position is due to growth and focus. Originally the task was held by the Internal Audit Dept, but it was determined that the focus needs to be in the hands of a separate unit. Position is in the suburbs of Chicago. A Chicagoland candidate is strongly preferred.
